“Our firm is built on three strong pillars, being audit, tax and advisory & consulting. We believe this diversity of services, competencies and skills makes us strong and agile in a changing business environment. The fact that we experienced double-digit net growth in all our service lines proves that each part is equally important to the success of our firm,” explains Yves Francis, Managing Partner at Deloitte Luxembourg.

Broken down by service line, the gross revenue comprises the €79.8 million of the audit department, the €79.7 million of the tax department while the remaining €114.8 million represent the revenue of the advisory & consulting department.

Steady growth
The firm’s strong performance over the past years has been accompanied by a steady increase in its overall workforce. In September and October alone, the partnership welcomed 260 new joiners, bringing the number of the firm’s professionals past the 1900 mark. The firm is currently spread over three different locations in the Neudorf area, but will move to its new headquarters in Cloche d’Or in the beginning of 2019.

“We owe our strong growth to our clients, who turn to us for advice and support, and to our people who take pride in serving our clients with distinction and commitment every day. We do not only help our clients with the challenges of today, we take it a step further and help them prepare for the digital future. That is where our true value lies,” explains Yves Francis.

Strong network
Deloitte Luxembourg is part of Deloitte global network of member firms. Globally, Deloitte reported aggregate network revenue of US$ 36.8 billion for the financial year 2016, which represents a growth of 9.5 percent. With a global workforce of 244,400 professionals, Deloitte keeps its position as one of the biggest professional services firms in the world. The EMEA region, which comprises Europe, Middle East and Africa, is the fastest growing region for Deloitte globally.

“The key to our success is our ability to attract and retain the best people—professionals with energy and drive—who want to make an impact for our clients. We highly value entrepreneurship, the ability to think new and to see opportunities where others see obstacles,” concludes Yves Francis.
