ING Luxembourg launches the "ING Unseen Talent Awards", its first exhibition at the Abbey of Neumünster
This Thursday, 12 May, ING Luxembourg had the great pleasure of launching the ING Unseen Talent Award, the first-ever exhibition organised by ING Luxembourg at Abbey of Neumünster, in close cooperation with Neimënster and the Art Management Department of ING Amsterdam.
The ING Unseen Talent Award is an ING Bank initiative and the organisers of Unseen Photo Fair Amsterdam, which provides a platform for new, talented photographers to exhibit their work in a global venue.
The exhibition presents the work of emerging young photographers who have won the international ING Unseen Talent Award contest. The contest is supported by ING Bank and the organisers of Unseen Photo Fair Amsterdam (23-25 September 2016) www.unseenamsterdam.com
The exhibition brings together all of the nominees of the last three years, including the winners. An exclusive area of the exhibition features the recent work of the Luxembourg photographer Sophie Jung, the winner of the latest edition. She here shows her most recent work, that she just finished last week. During the official opening, Sophie Jung gave a live performance in her space.
"I would like to emphasise how proud we are to support this exhibition. Thanks to Unseen, artists have new career opportunities and ING is able to provide a culture of innovation and change which is beneficial for everyone.
It's very important to us that we share the collection with a large audience. Our challenge is to establish a connection between art, culture and society!" said Luc Verbeken, CEO of ING Luxembourg.
