He replaces Robert Christophory, who after 37 years in the banking industry has decided to take early retirement. Vincent Hainaut joined Fortis Lease Luxembourg in 1997 and rose to head that group’s finance department in 1999. Since 2011, he has served as Deputy General Manager of the entity now known as BNP Paribas Lease Group Luxembourg.

In addition, the Board of Directors of BGL BNP Paribas Factor (wholly owned subsidiary of BGL BNP Paribas) has appointed Paul Engels as Chief executive. He will replace Marcel Hoh, who has decided to take early retirement. Paul Engels joined Banque Générale du Luxembourg in 1995. Before joining the Factoring unit, he held a number of positions in the Retail and Business division in Luxembourg.
