New governance at MNKS
Katia Scheidecker appointed managing Partner
MNKS, a leading Luxembourg independent law firm, is delighted to announce the appointment of Katia Scheidecker as Managing Partner. She will succeed Marie-Béatrice Noble, who held that position for the past four years.
As a co-founding partner of the firm in 2004, Katia has always focused on innovation within MNKS by identifying new fields of activity.
Over the last 10 years, she has successfully contributed to the development of the firm, which now has 9 partners and which takes pride in adopting a unique advisory approach based on excellence and accessibility.
As Managing Partner, Katia is responsible for the definition and the implementation of the firm’s strategy. She will also continue to advise her clients, namely on mergers and acquisitions and international restructuring projects.
Marie-Béatrice Noble will develop an even more targeted approach to the market.
Marie-Béatrice, for her part, aims to develop a more targeted positioning of MNKS on the market by adjusting closely to the clients expectations.
Appointment of three new members of the executive committee
Katia declares: “Today’s business environment is ever-evolving which requires faster action and over a multifaceted spectrum. For this reason we have decided to expand the firm’s management team.”
MNKS’ management board will be enlarged to include three other partners: Marielle Stevenot (Head of the Employment Team), Catherine Baflast (Co-head of the Corporate Team) and Cindy Arces (Head of the Dispute Resolution & Litigation Team). This collective leading approach will allow the firm to develop even more pragmatic and innovative solutions.
Simultaneously, MNKS welcomes Joëlle Marsot as Human Resources Director. Joëlle’s mission will be to project MNKS’ strategic development ambitions into a dynamic and innovative talent management.
Marie-Béatrice concludes: “A value-creating governance is an essential element of the development of a professional services firm. It is simultaneously a guarantee of quality, a key to innovation, and the guarantee of a constant questioning in a business environment where clients’ expectations are constantly evolving”.
