KBL European Private Bankers (KBL epb), the Luxembourg-headquartered private banking group, announced today the signing of a partnership agreement with Jonk Entrepreneuren Luxembourg (JEL), a non-profit organization dedicated to fostering entrepreneurship among youth in the Grand Duchy.

Under the terms of this agreement, the private banking group will not only provide funding to JEL, but also encourage its Luxembourg-based staff to voluntarily facilitate educational initiatives at local schools – supporting creativity and critical thinking among children and young adults.

“In line with our commitment to contributing resources and capital to worthy causes and important ideas in Luxembourg and across our pan-European footprint, we are pleased to announce the signing of this partnership agreement with Jonk Entrepreneuren Luxembourg,” said Yves Stein, Group CEO, KBL epb.

“As a leading European private bank in Luxembourg focused on meeting the needs of entrepreneurs and aspirational institutions,” he added, “we recognize the vital importance of fostering entrepreneurship among the next generation.”

KBL epb’s support for entrepreneurship extends beyond the Grand Duchy: in France, the private bank established in 2010 an annual awards programme that recognizes exceptional French entrepreneurs, with a special focus on youth achievement. The group also provides mentoring and grants to young entrepreneurs in the UK.

KBL epb’s broader corporate social responsibility commitments reflect the distinctly multi-local identity of the group and include support for organizations such as:

  • Luxembourg Autism Foundation, Luxembourg Cancer Foundation & Kriibskrank Kanner Foundation (Luxembourg)
  • Goods to Give (Belgium)
  • Macmillan Cancer Support (UK)
  • SOS Children’s Villages (Germany)
  • Audrey Jacobs Foundation (Switzerland)
  • Les Papillons Blancs de Vincennes (Monaco)

KBL epb also provides ongoing funding for a broad range of non-profit cultural organizations, such as the Luxembourg Philharmonic and the Grand Theater of Luxembourg.
