Both companies are proud to announce that cooperation is open to other operators, according to the vision of a true European Open Cloud Federation.

The purpose of this cooperation will be enabling customers to access an Openstack based cloud federated infrastructure distributed in Milan, Frankfurt, Amsterdam, London, Paris and now in Luxembourg.

As a result of this partnership, the two companies will increase their service range and geographical coverage, in order to meet the different needs of their European and global customers, particularly in terms of security and local regulatory compliance.

Enter Cloud Suite, the solution powered by Enter, has been since the beginning designed to be a distributed cloud computing service. Under this new partnership, the real potential of open cloud will be further unleashed. With Enter Cloud Suite users can provision cloud computing, storage and network resources in different regions in Europe, on a pay-as-you-go basis, in total self-provisioning, with a single account. Customers can create cross-region replicas, improve performance, reduce latency and ensure application stability in case of disaster. Resources are accessible via standard Openstack API or can be easily managed through a set of cloud management interfaces. Enter Cloud Suite support any kind of workload: ebusiness hosting, general applications, enterprise applications, batch computing, testing and development.

Ivan Botta, Ceo at Enter, says: “A federated cloud is the future for European operators that need to become cloud  providers now and catch up with the market momentum.”

Vincent Nicolay agrees that “The Open Cloud Federation will allow us to expand our product portfolio, to compete with the big American players and vendors, and to support our  European customers in moving and balancing workloads across different regions, including Luxembourg.”

Both companies are proud to announce that cooperation is open to other operators, according to the vision of a true European Open Cloud Federation.
