  • ING - sponsoring puppelschen

I am happy that the association has been able to develop faster its infrastructure thanks to our support and therefore better contribute to the development of the children it takes care of

Rik Vandenberghe, CEO ING Luxembourg

Within the context of its active policy in terms of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), ING Luxembourg decided two years ago to support the “Service de Rééducation Précoce – Hëllef fir de Puppelchen ASBL” (www.srp.lu) by donating one euro cent to this association for every transaction made with an ING Luxembourg VISA card throughout the year 2011. At the end of the year, the results of this action were established and ING had had the pleasure to offer 27,000 EUR, which enabled the association to further develop its therapeutic infrastructure.

In 2012, the operation was repeated and was even more successful! ING is indeed very proud to announce that this time 29,000 EUR will be paid to the “Service de Rééducation Précoce – Hëllef fir de Puppelchen ASBL”.

The objective of this Luxembourg association is to provide adapted and free care for children up to the age of four who have a suspected or confirmed developmental disorder related to their motor skills, mental faculties, language skills or behaviour.

A cheque of 29.000 EUR!
On 30 January, Rik Vandenberghe, CEO ING Luxembourg, had the pleasure to present a cheque of 29,000 EUR to the association « Service Rééducation Précoce - Hëllef fir de Puppelchen ». This cheque is the symbol of the sum that has been paid to the association for the year 2012. This sum, which corresponds to the number of VISA transactions made in 2012 by ING clients, rounded up to the nearest thousand, will among others allow the association to improve equipments in the Differdange and Esch-sur-Alzette centres.

In 2 years’ time, ING has donated 56,000 EUR!
“ING Luxembourg is proud to have been able to support for two consecutive years the “Service de Rééducation Précoce – Hëllef fir de Puppelchen ASBL”. I am happy that the association has been able to develop faster its infrastructure thanks to our support and therefore better contribute to the development of the children it takes care of”, says Rik Vandenberghe.
